Located in Washington, D.C., across from the United States Supreme Court, Mr. Thornton represents companies with high-technology legal issues, including issues involving international business and international intellectual property law. Mr. Thornton also is an instructor of Continuing Legal Education classes given around the United States in the legal subjects of computer law, software licensing agreements, Internet agreements, and the use of computers in the practice of law.

Mr. Thornton is a retired member of the Bars of the State of Alabama, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
